Professional Career
David de Hilster is considered one of the foremost experts in the world in Natural Language Processing – getting computers to read and understand text like humans. He is co-author of a computer programming language for creating intelligent programs. Currently he works for HPCC Systems super computing group at LexisNexis in Boca Raton Florida.

Brazilian – Almost
In 1987, David de Hilster quit his job, sold everything, and moved to Brazil – something he wanted to do before he settled down. He lived and worked in Rio de Janeiro for almost 3 years. He was a programmer in artificial intelligence, took drawing classes, and rocked climbed where he met his future Brazilian wife Doris de Hilster. He married and returned to the states where in 1994, he started a samba school. (see details in #8). David speaks fluent Portuguese.

Activist
David de Hilster has been involved with scientists outside of mainstream physics and cosmology and has co-authored a book with his father on the 4 Universal Motions in Physics. He also spent 8 years making the feature-length documentary, “Einstein Wrong – The Miracle Year“. David is also president of a world-wide think-tank of scientists who challenge mainstream science.

Plant-Based
In 2013, David landed in the emergency room with heart attack symptoms. He then read the book how to reverse by Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr. and immediately went whole-plant based. His heart disease is gone (read his story here), his allergies are gone, and he is now helping others adopt a whole plant based diet.

Sambista
David de Hilster is president of SambaLa Samba School and has performed in hundreds of shows as well as produced large Brazilian cultural events in Long Beach and Los Angeles California. David was also sang in the world-famous sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro with Neguinho da Beija-Flor and Beth Carvalho.
