David de Hilster was chosen from all the architectural students to do the annual architectural drawing at the Ohio State summer program in Oxford England at New College. New College was founded in 1379. When David finished, he did not want to give the drawing up so he did something he had never done before: made a copy. He sat down at his desk to make a copy of the drawing he just did.
Somewhere in Canada, someone has the other nearly identical drawing. This one currently resides with the de Hilster family in it’s private collection.
